At the Half: Bobcats at Bulls

The Bulls are up by 7 on a quick 11-2 run to end the first half of action in Chicago as the Charlotte Bobcats face off with the Chicago Bulls.  10 guys are available for the Bulls tonight and that would be it.  Derrick Rose is dressed but will not play.  Joakim Noah was a late scratch (thank heavens, I can’t stand to look at that….person?).  And the game has been close to this point.

The young guys have gotten a good bit of playing time.  Cory Higgins with 6 minutes and 4 points.  D.J. White had 8 minutes but banged knees with a Bulls player while he and Higgins (I think) continued a play while Matt Carroll and whoever else was on the floor stood out by the halfcourt line watching.  That was reported on twitter by Bobcats PR man B.J. Evans.  Just a bruise, as Stephanie Ready reported at halftime and he’s available for the second half as needed.

I am always worried about the Bobcats in the second half, but giving up that run before the break, has me really worried about seeing a close game continuing down the stretch in this game.

Quick post, sorry for the brevity, I gots to eat!
