March 24, 2012; Phoenix, AZ, USA; Florida Gators guard Bradley Beal (23) shoots over Louisville Cardinals guard/forward Kyle Kuric (14) during the second half in the finals of the west region of the 2012 NCAA men
The Charlotte Bobcats worked out two prospects Monday who are projected to go in the top five of the 2012 NBA draft.
Florida’s 6’3″ shooting guard Bradley Beal apparently had a solid day:
Here in 3pt drill #BradleyBeal has found his stroke – just hit 8 of 9 treys. #CatsDraft #nba

Kidd-Gilchrsit also impressed whoever is behind the Bobcats twitter handle:
I know @MikeGillie14 is known for some tenacious d but just retained the ball on 4straight possessions w/ solid offensive moves #CatsDraft

I still think, given Rick Cho’s contention that Charlotte is taking two steps back to take one forward, that Kidd-Gilchrist has to be the pick here (if the Bobcats stay at #2). He’s a great defender, a great athlete, and he can get better offensively.
Both guys have gone through a few workouts already, and by the end of this one you could tell the process was wearing on them:
