Kemba Walker made a game tying layup with 7.8 seconds left in the fourth quarter focing overtime, and the Bobcats went on to dominate the overtime period winning outscoring the Pistons 12-5. The Bobcats won the game 108-101.
Kemba Walker played well throughout the game scoring 20 points and dishing out seven assists. Walker also only had three turnovers despite playing over 33 minutes.
Ben Gordon also had a solid game scoring 18 points on 7-12 shooting. Gordon has been on a roll lately, and continued it tonight.
Overall for the Bobcats six players scored in double figures. Including Tyrus Thomas who had 13 points in over 38 minutes of playing time. If Thomas can give good minutes every night it would be a tremendous help for the Bobcats depth.
For the Pistons, Tayshaun Prince dropped 21 points, and Greg Monroe and Rodney Stuckey added 18 points each. Will Bynum also added nine assists.
The key stat in this game was turnovers. The Bobcats only committed 11 turnovers, while the Pistons committed 22 turnovers.
This win pushes the Bobcats to 9-24, and drops the Pistons to 13-23. The Bobcats play again Wednesday against the Utah Jazz.
