If you haven’t paid much attention to the D League this year, you wouldn’t know that CDR is tearing it up. In 11 games he’s scored 22 points, grabbed 5.3 rebounds and dished out 4.5 assists per contest.

He’s a big guard who can also fill in at small forward, and he’s proven himself as a reliable, limited-minutes scorer in the NBA.

In his first three years with New Jersey, and then Milwaukee, he averaged 13, 25, then 20 minutes per game. He scored 4.9, 9.8 and 7.5 points per game respectively those seasons.

No one in Charlotte would ask him to have some sort of career rebirth, but between seven and 10 points per game in 20 minutes off the bench wouldn’t be a terrible thing.
