The Charlotte Bobcats finished last week the way they finished most weeks; losers.
But that’s ok, because the season’s almost over, and the ‘Cats have the opportunity to be big winners in the 2013 NBA draft.
Funny I should mention that draft, because Roberto Gato will start kicking up its draft coverage this week. We’ll look at which players used the NCAA Tournament to their advantage and could be taken by the Bobcats. We’ll also update you on the pick the Portland Trail Blazers owe Charlotte. Right now the ‘Cats would not get that pick; It’s top 12 protected, and if the season ended today, Portland would draft in the top 12.
As far as games this week, the ‘Cats play at Memphis Tuesday, at Detroit Friday and Saturday vs Milwaukee.
The Grizzlies are coming off a close win over Sacramento Sunday, and do not play tonight. Detroit is 2-and-3 in their last five games, but they did just beat Chicago by double-digits Sunday. The Pistons play the Cavs on Wednesday before their matchup with Charlotte. Milwaukee is basically locked into the eighth spot in the Eastern Conference. They’ve got games against Miami Orlando and Atlanta before they play the ‘Cats.
Keep it locked into to Roberto Gato all week for coverage of all these games, and much more.
