NBA Free Agency: Josh McRoberts has reportedly agreed to come back to the Charlotte Bobcats on a two year deal worth $6 million.
He did what he could to reinvigorate Charlotte’s anemic after coming over via trade last season. He’s a solid passer, a good rebounder and a capable offensive option off the bench.
There’s not much more to say about this signing, other than it’s one many people felt Charlotte had to make to continue the improvement of their frontcourt after drafting Cody Zeller and signing free agent Al Jefferson.
The next domino expected to fall this offseason is Gerald Henderson.
Shooting guards aren’t cheap this summer, but the Bobcats did extend a qualifying offer to Hendo, so they can pay him more than anyone else if they want to go that route.
