Al Jefferson will miss his third consecutive game with an ankle sprain, Steve Clifford announced Monday.

The Charlotte Bobcats will be on the road against the New York Knicks, in the first game of a back-to-back.

The team will return to Charlotte Wednesday to host the Toronto Raptors. Logically, Jefferson could miss Wednesday’s game as well.

Jefferson suffered a setback following the team’s season debut against the Houston Rockets last Wednesday.
