Steve Clifford announced after the Charlotte Bobcats 102-97 win over the New York Knicks Tuesday night, that Al Jefferson will miss his fourth consecutive game with a bone bruise in his ankle.
Jefferson re-aggrevated the injury in last week’s season opener against the Houston Rockets.
With Jefferson sitting out against the Knicks, it isn’t too much of a surprise that he won’t play in the back end of a back-to-back.
Given the trend, Jefferson could also miss Friday’s rematch with the Knicks in Charlotte.
