Now at 8-9 Charlotte Bobcats fans are still trying to figure who this team is.  A defensive tenacity has defined the early playing style of this year’s ‘Cats, but offensively they have struggled.Injuries and inconsistent play has left on-lookers wondering just what this year’s team will provide.  Friday night against the lowly Bucks the ‘Cats once again looked like the better team at Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte.

Al Jefferson led the team with an impressive double double by collecting 23 points and 12 rebounds finally displaying the kind of presence the Bobcats were hoping for he signed his mega deal with the ‘Cats this offseason.  Taking over in the fourth quarter Jefferson scored 13 points, 3 times completing an “and one” opportunity by getting fouled and going to the line.  Henderson too stepped up with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists helping the ‘Cats to send the Bucks to their 11th straight loss.

The ‘Cats will look to build on this performance as they take a day off Saturday and prepare for the Miami Heat on Sunday.  At 8-9 we still don’t know what kind of team we have in Charlotte, but with a weak Eastern Conference this year the playoffs are certainly a consideration.
