The Charlotte Bobcats are looking to get a boost this season for a potential playoff run. According to a report from Alex Kennedy of Hoops World, Charlotte is shopping veteran guard Ben Gordon and his $13 million expiring contract for a player that helps the team win now.
Kennedy writes that the Bobcats are expected to be buyers at the deadline to ensure they make their second playoff appearance in franchise history. The Bobcats have lost six of their last seven games and have the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference.
Following injuries to Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Jeff Taylor, the Bobcats have struggled getting production their small forwards. Anthony Tolliver filled in for seven games in the starting lineup and Chris Douglas-Roberts has started the last two games.
