Future and Maroon 5 Link for New Song 'Cold'

Future and Maroon 5 Link for New Song 'Cold'

The release of "Cold" follows on the heels of Maroon 5's most recent single release, "Don't Wanna Know", which tallied the bands 12th Hot 100 top 10, making them the most successful group on the charts history.

"Cold" is an anti love song that discusses affection slowly leaving a relationship.

The icy collaboration is about love gone wrong, featuring Adam Levine's harmonies.

"I don't understand why you're so cold", he sings on the hook. The title of the song, "Cold" is every bit as chilling as the chorus expressed with lines going "Cold enough to chill my bones, it feels like I don't know you anymore". "I took the tag off and made you priceless / I just spent half a mill on a chandelier / Now you tryin' to cut me off like a light switch". It is very evident in their new single where the verses were very limited and there is little to no instrumentation at all accompanying the Adam Levine's iconic vocals. Nonetheless, "Cold" will surly being heating up fans' anticipation for what will most likely be one of the biggest pop records of the year. The North American dates will kick off on 20 February in Milwaukee, WI. They will also play at New Orleans Jazz Fest on April 29th and at BottleRock in Napa, California on May 26th.

Maroon 5 clearly have a game plan for their upcoming sixth album.
