Parents identify victim found inside 'Real Housewives' star's burning auto

A auto owned by the boutique owner, who has appeared on Bravo's Real Housewives of New Jersey, was set ablaze in the Garden State with two bodies inside Friday, several news outlets report.

According to TMZ, it all started on Wednesday when DePaola's son, Chris, asked a friend to drop him off at the airport using his mom's Audi.

So sad. Two burned bodies were reportedly found in "RHONJ" star Kim DePaola's torched vehicle, and now one of the victims has been identified by his parents.

The Post reports nearby residents in Paterson said they heard shots and saw the auto erupt in flames minutes later.

Loved ones have begun paying their respects to Anderson and the other victim, believed to be his friend, by setting up a memorial with candles and flowers at the location where the vehicle was discovered, according to ABC.

Two bodies were found inside and pronounced dead at the scene.

The male victims, who have not been identified, were shot in the head and their bodies burnt beyond recognition.

"He would've called us, he would've come home, his phone would've been on", said Michelle Ryerson, Anderson's mother.

TMZ reports Chris has not been able to reach the friend and is anxious.

"We're concerned", added his father, Thurston Anderson. "I'm hoping nothing happened".

The bodies were discovered inside DePaola's torched Audi in Paterson, New Jersey, on Friday.

"I pretty much know it's my son", Ryerson said somberly Monday. NBC reports drugs are being looked at as a possible motive. "I am humbled by the outpour [ing] of love and support during this very hard time", she wrote in an image captioned "Thank you to everyone for your support!" No arrests have been made as of press time, PEOPLE reports. She offered her condolences to the victims' families.
