Intro to Rigging

Diego Olivares is a character rigging artist with over ten years of experience in the entertainment industry. He has always been drawn to the technical side of production and enjoys the problem-solving nature of his craft. Diego has worked at DreamWorks, Nickelodeon, and Sprite animation. He’s created complex rigs for bipeds, quadrupeds, vehicles, props, and creatures. One of his favorite things about working in the animation industry is collaborating with animators, modelers, and other production team members to create compelling and believable characters. Diego’s passion for rigging has led him to work on exciting projects. He has built rigs on over 15 TV series like Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous and Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Years. His most recent projects include Trolls 3 and Kung fu panda 4.
