<p>The Miami Heat are the new favorite to win the NBA finals after beating the Oklahoma City Thunder in game three at home.</p></div>
<div class="mceTemp">
At least that&#8217;s what you&#8217;d think if you drove to work listening to ESPN radio this morning.</div>
<div class="mceTemp"> </div>
<div class="mceTemp">The Human Bowtie, Bruce Bowen, went on Mike and Mike in the morning to give his updated predictions for the finals, and said the Heat would close out the Thunder in five games.</div>
<div class="mceTemp"> </div>
<div class="mceTemp">Talk about taking overreacting to the next level. After game one, almost everyone on that network was ready to declare the Thunder champions for the next five years.</div>
<div class="mceTemp"> </div>
<div class="mceTemp">Still, OKC is in a spot of bother after losing two straight games and giving away home court advantage.</div>
<div class="mceTemp"> </div>
<div class="mceTemp">If the Thunder can steal one game in Miami, they&#8217;d still go back to Oklahoma needing two straight wins for a championship.</div>
<div class="mceTemp"> </div>
<div class="mceTemp">Before they can think about that, though, Kevin Durant and co. need to realize a few things:</div>
<div class="mceTemp"> </div>
<div class="mceTemp">1. The Thunder are not going to win another game if Westbrook continues to shoot 44 percent from the field. I don&#8217;t care if he doesn&#8217;t want to change his game; If he wants to win a championship, he will change it. Oh, and four assists isn&#8217;t going to get the job done either.</div>
<div class="mceTemp"> </div>
<div class="mceTemp">2. Kevin Durant needs to get to the line more than four times. Take a page out of LeBron&#8217;s book and attack him. Make him play defense.</div>
<div class="mceTemp"> </div>
<div class="mceTemp">3. James Harden has to be James Harden. 2-10 is not going to get it done.</div>
<div class="mceTemp"> </div>
<div class="mceTemp">4. THE MIAMI HEAT CANNOT SHOOT JUMPERS! Run a zone for a fifth of the game! Over-rotate on LeBron, Wade, and Bosh to cut off their path if you have too! Make Miami&#8217;s collection of misfit toys beat you in the lane and force its big three to settle for jumpers! It&#8217;s nothing short of mind-boggling to me that almost every team Miami plays goes man for the full 48 minutes.</div>
<div class="mceTemp"> </div>
<div class="mceTemp">We&#8217;ll see if Oklahoma City can even things up on Tuesday, but if they don&#8217;t recognize those things I mentioned above, Bruce Bowen might not be too far off.  </div>
<div class="mceTemp"> </div>

Mandatory Credit: David Butler II-US PRESSWIRE</p></div>
<p>Rajon Rondo shined in the NBA playoffs once again, and who would&#8217;ve thought? Certainly not this guy, who wrote a little somethin&#8217; somethin&#8217; about the Celtics PG being the best at his position in the league yesterday.</p>
<p>Number nine scored 21 points, dished out 10 assists and pulled down six rebounds on the way to a 101-91 Celtics win over the Heat in game three of the Eastern conference finals.</p>
<p>Rondo also shot 56 percent from the floor and nabbed a pretty steal in transition to thwart the James-to-Wade highlight show.</p>
<p>Kevin Garnett was pretty good too. He dropped 24 (points) and 11 (rebounds) and finished the night a +27.</p>
<p>Miami missed ten of its 20 free-throws and shot just 29 percent from behind the arc.</p>
<p>After destroying the Spurs in game three of the Western conference finals, Kevin Durant, Russel Westbrook and James Harden wil try to tie the series up in game four tonight.</p>
<p>The Thunder rode a balanced offensive attack (five players in double figures) and a nasty (to steal a great word from Spurs coach Greg Popovich) defensive effort (19 forced turnovers) to victory the last time out.</p>
<p>Tonight it&#8217;ll probably take a little more offensively from their Big Three if they&#8217;re going to escape the wrath of the Spurs for a second straight game.</p>
