This is pretty embarrassing, so I’ll keep it short…

The Bobcats became the worst team in NBA history Thursday night.

Michael Jordan did not come back to save the franchise he owns, like I said he should have, Charlotte got outscored by 20 in the paint, and the New York Knickerbockers obliterated the ‘Cats 104-84.

Amare Stoudemire and Iman Shumpert were the only Knicks starters that saw the floor tonight, and their team still won by 30 points.

I can’t make it simple enough… The 2012 Charlotte Bobcats are the worst team in the history of the NBA.

They were awful, dreadful, sickening. They made whoever watched them want to gouge their eyes out.

They were flat out pitiful.

As far the game went, Gerald Henderson was the only Bobcat who could leave the court with some semblance of self respect. He scored 21 points on 10 shots, and grabbed 7 rebounds in 37 minutes.

DJ Augustin scored 12 points and had seven assists in 32 minutes, Kemba Walker scored 13 points on 12 shots, and DeSagana Diop went off for two points on one shot in 20 minutes…

Some things I saw:

I’m not gonna lie, when it was clear the Bobcats were going to lose (which was relatively early in the game) I kept switching back and forth between the game and the NFL draft… So I didn’t get to watch Byron Mullens and Bismack Biyombo crap themselves against Amare Stoudemire, but I’m sure it was hilarious.

The Bobcats got outscored by 20 points in the paint and they shot less than 60 percent from the free-throw line.

Somehow, the ‘Cats out-rebounded the Knicks and still managed to get destroyed.

It would be really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really ,really awesome if Charlotte got the number one pick in the NBA draft this year, but as far as luck goes, the teams I care about have none of it.

That’s enough for tonight, though…

I would like to officially present to everyone, the worst team in the history of the NBA, the 2012 Charlotte Bobcats!
